Valley Youth House Welcomes Kristen Walsh as Associate Director of Development

BETHLEHEM, PA (DECEMBER 2022) – Valley Youth House announces the hiring of Kristen Walsh as Associate Director of Development. Kristen Walsh is a seasoned fundraising professional with over 14 years of nonprofit experience.

In her new role, she will work with individual donors, corporations, and foundations to increase philanthropy and advance the agency’s mission.

Kristen most recently served as the Development Director for the American Heart Association of Greater Lehigh Valley. Prior to that, she served as the Development Director at Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites with a focus on preparing Bethlehem to become a World Heritage Site as well as leadership roles in the heritage tourism, anti-hunger, and adult education industries.

Kristen received her MA in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Eastern PA Chapter and is a past-president of the Society of Volunteer Administrators.

She is a lifelong Lehigh Valley resident, currently living in Macungie with her husband, Jeremy, where they care for their dog, Mocha, and 200+ houseplants.
