ALLENTOWN, PA (1/17/23) – Valley Youth House is pleased to announce that Project Silk Lehigh Valley (PSLV) has moved to 1101 Hamilton Street, Suite 102, Allentown, PA in the Hamilton Business Center, and we are open and serving young people.

Project Silk Lehigh Valley is an LGBTQ+ inclusive drop-in program that is youth-led, adult-supported, and offers a wide variety of free services.

Project Silk Lehigh Valley offers a safe and affirming space for young people ages 14 to 29 who are members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. Project Silk Lehigh Valley provides access to HIV and STI testing, active recreation, peer support, counseling, education on health and social topics, food and emergency supplies. Project Silk Lehigh Valley builds leadership among LGBTQ+ youth and provide HIV interventions to empower youth to be their own healthcare advocates.

At its core, Project Silk Lehigh Valley operates from a trauma-informed Positive Youth Development framework where youth are empowered to lead.
