Lehigh Valley Public Media Elects Luis Campos to 2023 Board of Directors

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA; February 9, 2023 – Lehigh Valley Public Media, a community-owned nonprofit organization and home to LehighValleyNews.com, PBS39, and 93.1 WLVR, has elected Luis Campos to its 2023 Board of Directors. Campos currently serves as the City Administrator for Easton, where he manages all aspects of City Government, including acting as the Chief Administrative and Operating Officer, working closely with the Mayor and City Council.

“We’re excited to welcome Luis to the Lehigh Valley Public Media Board of Directors,” said Susan Yee, Board Chair. “As someone who is forward-thinking and community-minded, he is going to provide the organization with great insight and expertise, helping to further our mission.”

Prior to his current position, Campos served as Director of Administration for Northampton County. He has also worked in the Governor’s Office of the Budget, The Governor’s Office of Administration and the Small Business Development Center at Lehigh University.

“I am honored to serve on the Lehigh Valley Public Media Board of Directors,” said Luis Campos. “With a seemingly unlimited amount of information and content at people’s fingertips, it is my goal to help ensure that public media continues to operate at a high level – connecting, inspiring and informing the Lehigh Valley.”

In addition to serving on the board of Lehigh Valley Public Media, Campos currently sits on several community boards including the Board of Governors for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Fé Foundation, the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, and Third Street Alliance. In 2022, Campos was recognized as one of the top 100 Latino professionals at the Pennsylvania Annual Latino Conference.

Lehigh Valley Public Media also extends thanks and gratitude to Dr. Philip Fromuth and Mr. Steven Thompson who finished their terms on the board as of January 30, 2023.
