BETHLEHEM, PA (2/17/2023) – Valley Youth House is pleased to announce the promotions of Tom Quinn and Lisa Weingartner, MSW, LSW, to key roles within the organization.

Lisa Weingartner, MSW, LSW, who has been serving as Senior Vice President for Bucks & Montgomery Counties, Central PA, Lehigh Valley IL and Emergency Services and Northeast PA, has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President for Programs. In this role, Lisa will provide leadership and support to all programs within Valley Youth House, including overseeing Quality Assurance & Camp Fowler.

Lisa initially worked at Valley Youth House at the Lehigh Valley Shelter from 1996 to 1998. After a few years at other agencies she returned in May 2005 as an Associate Director in the Lehigh Valley REAL/SIL program. She was part of the initial Camp Fowler Adventure Element team and has helped expand VYH Independent Living and Emergency Services into Luzerne, Lancaster, Chester, Delaware, Dauphin and York counties. She has had various areas of increasing responsibility at VYH over the past 17 years. In 2017, she was named the Social Worker of the Year for the State of Pennsylvania, and has served on numerous local, regional and state-wide committees and task forces.

Lisa and her wife, Mary Beth, have two children and reside in Bethlehem, PA.


Tom Quinn, who has been serving as Senior Vice President for Finance, has been promoted to Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration, and will provide leadership and support to the Finance, Information Technology, Risk Management, and Facility functions.

Tom worked for Drexel University for over 20 years, starting in the Accounting Department and rising to the position of Vice Provost for Finance and Administration. During his tenure at Drexel, he worked on numerous University-wide initiatives to enhance student experience and improve overall performance of the University.

Tom and his wife, Tina, have two children and reside in Audubon, NJ.
