Bethlehem, PA: Historic Downtown Bethlehem is painting the Downtown green and going green for St. Patrick’s Day in a big way this year! The Downtown Bethlehem Association is partnering with Green Pond Packaging for the Beth-lum Go Bragh Cocktail Trail as they switch to eco-friendly cups for this event. During this weeklong celebration, the Historic District will be filled with Celtic-inspired music, food, cocktail trails, Irish gnomes, festive window displays, entertainment, and a scavenger hunt.  Make sure to bring your festive spirit to the Historic District to celebrate going green!

“Beth-lum Go Bragh is a great time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the Historic District”, says Tammy Wendling, Senior Vice President of Bethlehem Initiatives for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “The economic impact on our business owners has always been positively affected by the annual parade. Due to the absence of the parade this year, the Downtown Bethlehem Association will continue to host several contests and a cocktail trail while painting the Downtown green. We also look forward to implementing new ‘green’ initiatives, not only during the week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day but throughout the whole year.”

The week kicks off with a cocktail trail and closes out with St. Patrick’s Day. 350 spots are available for this fun and spirited cocktail trail. Adults 21 years of age and older will pick up St. Patrick’s Day-inspired samples of cocktails from various restaurants and merchants. Guests on this trail will follow the passport throughout the Historic District, sipping those samples until they reach the pot of gold! Later, they’ll vote for their favorite cocktail. The winning cocktail on this trail will be celebrated and announced on St. Patrick’s Day!
