Deliver on routes serving clients in Slatington and Walnutport. Pick up meals at Hope Lutheran Church in Cherryville between 9:30 & 10 a.m. In 60 to 90 minutes, provide nutritious meals to 10 to 12 clients per route. Deliver solo or with a friend or family member. Training provided by Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley includes a ride along; application and background check required. Partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) will conduct its annual national food drive on Saturday, May 13. Volunteers will be needed that day from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. to assist the letter carriers in unloading and organizing the food donations as they return from their routes, at both the Greenwood Ave, Bethlehem, and Ferry St, Easton, offices. Unidos, Inc. will be celebrating the 4th Anniversary of Humankind Day on June 10th at Jordan Park in Allentown.
