Allentown, PA – August 21st, 2023 – Valley Health Partners is pleased to announce the opening of its new state-of-the-art family vision and pediatric dental clinics located at 101 N. 6th Street in Allentown. This expansion of services aims to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community and provide comprehensive oral and vision care under one roof.
The opening of VHP Community Smiles and VHP Community Vision Center represent an exciting milestone for Valley Health Partners as it continues to prioritize the well-being of its patients. With a strategic location in the heart of Allentown, residents will have convenient access to high-quality pediatric dental and family vision services in a modern and comfortable environment, with pediatric primary care and family medicine being added onsite in 2024.
The site is a collaboration with Community Services for Children and City Center Allentown. Community Services for Children will grow its footprint in the building later this year, offering significantly expanded access to Head Start, STEM activities, literacy programming, and indoor fun and fitness spaces. “We are delighted to expand our programming to children and families in Allentown,” said Deidra Vachier, President/CEO, Community Services for Children. “Having space alongside Valley Health Partners will allow our families to have greater access to healthcare services, along with high quality early learning and exceptional family services.”
VHP Community Smiles is equipped with brand-new state-of-the-art equipment, staffed by a team of skilled and compassionate dental professionals, in a beautiful and vibrant space. Caregivers can expect personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of their children, ensuring optimal oral health and radiant smiles.
In addition to the dental services, VHP Community Vision Center will provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and a wide range of eyewear options, treating patients of all ages. VHP Community Vision Center’s Optometry providers serve children as young as 6 months. The experienced optometrists and ophthalmologists are available to diagnose and treat various eye conditions, as well as provide advice on maintaining good eye health.
