How to Create a Backyard Pollinator Habitat

The Northampton County Parks and Recreation will sponsor a pollinator program at the Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 17. The Community Center is located at 4100 Green Pond Rd, Palmer Township, PA 18045.

Join Penn State Master Gardener Marie Bondi for this hour-long illustrated presentation on creating a backyard environment that benefits our local pollinators. Attendees will learn why native plants are so important to pollinators and how to garden for pollinators all year round. Marie is also a certified Pollinator Steward with the Pollinator Partnership.

This program is free of charge; however, registration is required. Contact Jim Wilson, Northampton County Parks Recreation Specialist, to register at 610-829-6404 or jwilson@norcopa.gov.
