Calling All Glass Enthusiasts!

Playing with Fire: A Glass Blast Exhibition and Auction

Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., April 4, 2024 – During this April and May, the ArtsQuest Glass Studio is proud to present the Glass Blast Exhibition and Auction featuring works of art from our diverse group of talented studio members.

Join glass and art enthusiasts alike at this annual event to view beautiful and unique works of art in our galleries. This art will feature many different techniques ranging from traditional blowing techniques to more modern sculpting processes.

This year’s Glass Blast is also an auction. All of the works featured are made with glass here in the Lehigh Valley and are available for purchase via the auction website. Help support both ArtsQuest Glass Studio and local artists from the community by bidding on your favorite work in the show. Then, participate in our closing night party on Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m. in the Banana Factory.

Playing with Fire: A Glass Blast Exhibition and Auction will be free to the public from April 5 throughout the end of May, however, the Glass Blast closing party on June 1 will be a ticketed event, officially ending the exhibition and auction. For more information on the closing party visit Bananafactory.org.

Tickets for the closing night party will be available on the Banana Factory website under the Playing with Fire exhibition page.

Converse with your favorite artist represented at the exhibition, bring beautiful handmade glass pieces home and, most of all, have fun!”

This fundraiser ensures that ArtsQuest can continue to provide opportunities for artists to live and work in the Lehigh Valley area, as well as inspire new generations of artists through robust educational programs.
