Park continues to expand Dorney Park Cares Initiative 

(ALLENTOWN, PA) June 4, 2024 – Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom announced today that it will work with Tickets for Kids Charities to distribute hundreds of complementary single-day admission tickets for the 2024 season. Dorney Park estimates that the total contribution is worth over 65 thousand dollars.

The announcement follows a series of charitable events for the park to kick off the 2024 season, which has seen the launch of a Winter Chill Out raising $10k for Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital and Ride for a Cause raising funds for the Eagles Autism Foundation.

“This year more than any in the park’s storied history we are committed to giving back,” said Dorney Park Vice President and General Manager Jessica Naderman. “The launch of new initiatives like our Ride for a Cause and this partnership with Tickets for Kids shows our community that Dorney Park can and will make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.”

Tickets for Kids provides free access for low-income and at-risk kids to attend the arts, cultural, educational, and athletic venues of their community.  The organization’s mission is to inspire hope, dreams, and achievements for a lifetime.

The partnership began when Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom opened to the public for the season on Friday, May 10, 2024.

At the top of the list of highlights for the park in 2024 is the new history-making roller coaster Iron Menace which features a 95-degree drop from 160 feet and four incredible inversions.
