World Autism Awareness Day is an internationally recognized day on the 2nd of April every year. In honor of Autism Awareness Day, we want to highlight a few of the resources available here in the Lehigh Valley.

• Autism Society Lehigh Valley – ASA-LV is a volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism and their families who live in the Lehigh Valley.

• Via of the Lehigh Valley – Providing services for people with disabilities from birth through retirement for over 50 years. 
• ASSERT – ASERT (Autism Services, Education, Resources and Training) is a statewide initiative funded by the Bureau of Autism Services, PA Department of Human Services. The ASERT (Autism Services, Education, Resources and Training) Collaborative is a key component of the Bureau of Autism’s strategy for supporting individuals with autism and their families throughout the Commonwealth. It is our vision that ASERT will connect existing resources and pockets of expertise, and address the regional gaps in effective services and supports.
• Live, Learn, & Play – Live Learn & Play is a Lehigh Valley-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping local families with Autism & special needs by promoting awareness & inclusion.
