Gross McGinley is Celebrating This Achievement As a Community-Driven Leader Committed to Amplifying the Vibrancy of Center City Allentown and Providing Superior Client Service
Allentown, PA – February 26, 2025 – Gross McGinley, LLP, a leading full-service law firm, is thrilled to announce that its renovated flagship office, located in the heart of the city of Allentown at 33 South 7th Street, has been selected as a recipient of the Lehigh Valley Business 2025 Top Projects Award.
The Lehigh Valley Business Top Projects honors the best building and construction projects in the Lehigh Valley that were completed between January and December 2024. The awards not only celebrate the outstanding work accomplished in the past year but also envision how these projects may shape future landmarks. Judging criteria included projects that demonstrated exceptional creativity, construction techniques, collaborative success, adaptive reuse, and sustainability efforts. Winners of the 2025 Top Projects Awards were chosen by the editors of the Lehigh Valley Business.
A privately-funded project that commenced in the Spring of 2024, the renovations to the four story, 124-year-old building, which Gross McGinley, LLP purchased in 1986, were designed deliberately to accommodate the firm’s expanding client list and to better serve the diverse needs of each client. Highlights include the creation of a state-of-the-art, first-floor conference center fitted with cutting-edge technology, updates to the existing elevator, maximizing space on the first floor to facilitate private, in-person client meetings, and a complete modernization of the building façade to align with the revitalized aesthetic of Center City Allentown. Occupying a 25,000 square foot space, the refreshed layout is modern and progressive with a strict focus on communication and collaboration, and underlines the firm’s commitment to elevate the client experience.
“With the renovations now complete, Gross McGinley is extremely pleased by the end result. Our reimagined space illustrates a dynamic workplace with contemporary amenities and features that will maximize the firm’s ability to not only better serve our clients, but also build lasting connections with the community at large,” commented Samuel E. Cohen, Deputy Managing Partner. “As we continue to witness steady growth in Center City Allentown, we are excited by the city’s vibrant rebirth, and look forward to watching it prosper for years to come.”
Gross McGinley, LLP engaged with North Star Construction Management, widely recognized as a leading U.S. commercial builder, to take a forward-thinking approach to the interior design aspect. Alliance Architecture was the selected architectural firm for the job, while Slate Structural Engineers were enlisted to provide their critical engineering expertise. The City of Allentown’s Office of Building and Construction also continuously extended crucial support throughout the duration of the project, including granting essential approvals. Proud to be an avid supporter of locally owned businesses, all of the contracted partners are headquartered in the Lehigh Valley region.
An Open House reception is planned for late Spring of 2025 to welcome clients, industry colleagues, local businesses, and members of the local community, where guests will be treated to tours of the new building.
