The Promenade Welcomes Another Local Business with a Grand Opening
The Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with the Promenade Saucon Valley to welcome their newest tenant – The Hive – to their Main Street!
“We are thrilled to welcome The Hive to Promenade Saucon Valley” stated Elizabeth DiDuca, manager of Local Leasing & Business Development for The Promenade when asked about this event. “Supporting local retail is a significant part of our mission and adds to our customers’ experience. We’re proud to showcase the incredible talent of the Lehigh Valley’s vibrant artist community.”
The Hive started as a small idea rooted in a big love for handmade goods and the incredible people who make them. MaKayla Adams, owner of The Hive, had a vision to build a space where local artists, crafters, and small business owners could come together, share their passions, and be supported by a community that values creativity and authenticity. Over time, that dream has grown into something so much bigger than MaKayla ever imagined. With over 280 local vendors, they’ve seen friendships form, businesses bloom, and a true sense of belonging take shape within our walls.
When asked about this grand opening event, MaKayla stated, “We are overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement as we prepare to open at the Promenade Saucon Valley. This move means greater visibility for our makers, more opportunities to connect with customers, and the chance to be part of a beautiful, vibrant shopping destination that shares our commitment to supporting local and offering something unique. It feels like the perfect place for The Hive to keep growing and thriving.”
All are invited to experience The Hive and shop their many local makers for the first time on Saturday April 26th beginning at 10:00AM! A ribbon cutting ceremony will kick off the day’s celebrations starting at 9:45AM. This shop located in between Red Robin and American Eagle, near the AMC Theatre.
