Carbon County, PA – The Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with Carbon PA CareerLink and the Pocono Counties Workforce Development Area, invites the public to attend the 2025 Carbon PA CareerLink Career Fair on Friday, May 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Carbon Plaza Mall in Lehighton.
This free event is open to all individuals, including students, seasonal workers, and those looking to begin or advance their careers. With dozens of employers expected to participate, attendees will have the chance to connect directly with hiring companies, explore job opportunities across a variety of industries, and gather valuable information to support their job search.
“We’re seeing so much positive momentum in Carbon County’s job market right now,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Senior Vice President of the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation, also noting that the event has tripled in its participants since last fall. “Businesses are growing, positions are opening up, and there is truly something for everyone—whether you’re just starting out, looking to make a change, or ready to take the next step in your career. This job fair is about opening doors, building connections, and helping people see what’s possible right here in their own community.”
In addition to meeting with employers, job seekers can learn more about Career Pathways—an initiative designed to help individuals understand the potential for long-term growth within different fields. These pathways offer insight into how a job today can evolve into a fulfilling and sustainable career.
Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and take advantage of the opportunity to have a free professional headshot taken by Michael Straub Photography, sponsored by PPL Electric Utilities.
