“TAKE THE LEAD” LEHIGH VALLEY EVENT
The girl-led ceremony will celebrate four exceptional women leaders who exemplify the Girl Scouts’ mission and make the world a better place
On Tuesday, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP) hosted its annual Take the Lead Lehigh Valley Event. The following women leaders were honored at the Wind Creek Bethlehem:
- Lori A. Alfonse, DO, Deputy Physician-in-Chief, Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute
- MaryEllen Dickey, CFRE, Chief Philanthropy Officer, Da Vinci Science Center
- Corinne Goodwin, Founder & Executive Director, Eastern PA Trans Equity Project

In addition to honoring these inspiring local leaders at the camp-themed ceremony, Take the Lead served as GSEP’s signature fundraising event – helping to provide hundreds of Girl Scouts throughout the Lehigh Valley region with financial support so they can experience all that Girl Scout camp has to offer.
