EASTON, Pa. (May 7, 2025) – Two teachers from the Lehigh Valley celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week with a once-in-a-lifetime experience today—a shopping spree through the world’s largest selection of Crayola products and unique souvenirs at Crayola Experience Easton. Their schools and students also had something to cheer about, receiving a prize pack valued at $5,000 from the attraction.

Kara Kresge, a teacher at Francis A March Elementary School in Easton, and Paula Nagle, a teacher at Stroudsburg Middle School in Stroudsburg were randomly selected from more than 1,800 raffle entries to participate in the World’s Most Colorful Shopping Spree—Teacher Edition.

The teachers had 64 seconds—a nod to Crayola’s iconic box of 64 crayons—to dash around The Crayola Store and grab as much Crayola product as they could. The Crayola Tip character, along with school mascots, colleagues, students, and family cheered on the teachers. Because of medical condition, Nagle had a fellow teacher—Amber Cohen—to race through the aisles.

At the end of their spree, the Kresge and Nagle got to keep what was collected to stock their classrooms for next year and all the students in their classrooms will receive a free Crayola Experience ticket to use this summer.

Crayola Experience also donated a prize pack valued at $5,000 to each winning teacher’s school. The colorful school package includes an assortment of Crayola crayons, markers, colored pencils, and other supplies, plus 200 Crayola Experience tickets that can be used for school fundraising, student recognition awards, etc.

In appreciation for the work teachers do to educate, motivate, and inspire the next generation all year long, teachers are eligible for free annual passes to Crayola Experience—the most colorful family destination for interactive, creative play.
