Penn State’s School of Engineering Design and Innovation Conference on Intrapreneurship will take place on May 22nd in Lehigh Valley.

Center Valley, Pennsylvania – May 5, 2025 – The School of Engineering Design and Innovation at Penn State will hold a Conference on Intrapreneurship on May 22nd beginning at 8am and ending with a networking reception at 5pm at its Lehigh campus in Center Valley.

The inaugural Lehigh Valley conference aims to unite local leaders, Penn State educators, and nationally recognized innovation experts. Through discussions, learning sessions, and idea exchanges, industry leaders will learn how to empower employees to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset that will fuel organizational and regional economic growth.

The conference features workshops with expert facilitators to discuss:

1. Characteristics of an Intrapreneurial ‘flat’ Company

2. Establishing an Intrapreneurial Culture

3. Leadership Styles

4. Employee Support and Rewards

 

As a land grant university, a key element of the Penn State’s mission is to support local communities achieve full employment economic growth. Support for the conference is being provided by Needham & Company and B. Braun.
