EASTON, Pa.—Greater Lehigh Valley Writers’ Group (GLVWG) will hold its monthly meeting from 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, June 28, 2025. The meeting is offered in a hybrid format—in-person at the Palmer Branch of the Easton Library, 1 Weller Place, Palmer, PA, and online via Zoom.

From 11 a.m.-12 noon, author, editor, and book coach Dianna Sinovic will give an Introduction to Canva, a (mostly) free design website. Sinovic will give a broad overview of Canva.com, a design site that’s easy to use and free (for many basic elements). This is an introduction for those not familiar with Canva and a preview of the afternoon workshop.

Sinovic will lead an Intro to Designing in Canva workshop from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. This will be a deeper dive into Canva’s many capabilities, with time for attendees to try their hand at creating simple designs.  Choose from a bookmark, a social media post, a business card, or all three as time permits. Registration is required for the afternoon workshop. Cost is free for members; $15 for non-members payable via AccuPay.
