Valley Youth House Calls for Mentors in Lehigh Valley and Montgomery County to Support Youth Transitioning from Foster Care

Lehigh Valley, PA – Valley Youth House is seeking adult mentors in the Lehigh Valley and Montgomery County who are ready to make a direct and lasting difference in the lives of young people.

Youth who have spent time in the foster care system often face an uphill battle as they transition into adulthood. Many navigate this time without consistent support, stable relationships, or access to guidance that many take for granted. Valley Youth House’s Mentoring Programprovides a pathway for caring adults to step in and offer that steady presence.

The program connects youth ages 14 to 21 with adult mentors who commit to building a meaningful, consistent relationship. Mentors aren’t expected to have all the answers. What they bring, trust, time, and perspective, can have a real impact on a young person’s well-being and sense of possibility. With the support of Valley Youth House, mentors help their mentees explore goals, build confidence, and make informed choices about their future.

Valley Youth House invites adults age 21 and older to consider becoming mentors.
