Carbon County, PA – The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Carbon County Annual Awards Gala, to be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Blue Mountain Resort.
This year’s theme, Midnight in the Garden, promises a dramatic and sophisticated evening celebrating the people and organizations that make Carbon County a vibrant place to live, work, and thrive. Guests will enjoy a night of networking, live music, fine dining, and recognition of outstanding contributions to our community.
Nominations are available in the following categories:
- Business of the Year: Recognizes a CCEDC member business that has demonstrated achievement and innovation in management, workplace excellence and has committed to growing here in Carbon County.
- Rookie Business of the Year: Recognizes a CCEDC member business that has demonstrated enthusiasm, community spirit and excellent customer service and has committed to growing here in Carbon County. One year or less in business.
- Tourism and Entertainment Business of the Year: Honors a CCEDC member business that attracts guests and visitors to provide amusement, recreation, hospitality and/or culture. These businesses include: restaurants, theaters, bed & breakfasts, wineries, driving ranges and eco- tourism.
- Mike Harleman Arts and Entertainment Award: Honors an artist, venue or entertainer that supports and gives back to Carbon County.
- Volunteer of the Year: Outstanding individual dedicated to supporting CCEDC and other community organizations through volunteer work and outreach.
- Young Professional of the Year Award: Highlights a Carbon County Young Professional highly
involved in CCEDC events and community programs.
- Economic Development Project: Outstanding economic development project by a CCEDC member, business or organization designed to bring jobs and economic growth to Carbon County.
- William H. Bayer Lifetime Achievement Award: This award is in honor of the late William H. Bayer for his dedication to the community. To acknowledge his commitment to the community, the CCEDC presents this award each year to a CCEDC member who has demonstrated a lifetime commitment to our community.
“This event is our opportunity to shine a spotlight on the remarkable businesses, organizations, and individuals whose dedication and vision help Carbon County flourish,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Senior Vice President of the CCEDC. “We encourage everyone in the community to take part in the nomination process and help us recognize those who go above and beyond.”
