Concert & Dinner Fundraiser on October 4 at Musikfest Café
Proceeds support the Choir’s Youth Education and Community Engagement programs
The Bach Choir of Bethlehem is proud to announce a special concert and dinner fundraiser with internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Dan Tepfer on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Musikfest Café at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem.
Tepfer will perform his celebrated project Inventions/Reinventions, interweaving J.S. Bach’s Two-Part Inventions with his own improvisations to complete the cycle across all 24 keys. The evening includes a cocktail reception, intimate performance, and a curated three-course dinner. Tickets are $225 (including a $75 charitable contribution). Proceeds benefit the Bach Choir’s Youth Education and Community Engagement programs.

Tepfer, known for boundary-crossing projects like Goldberg Variations/Variations and Natural Machines, has performed at the prestigious Bachfest Leipzig and approaches Bach as a living partner in dialogue. In Inventions/Reinventions, he performs Bach’s original Two-Part Inventions and adds his own improvisations in the “missing” keys, creating a complete 24-key journey that is both historically grounded and boldly contemporary.
