Historic Hotel Bethlehem has been the host to numerous grand events since it opened in 1922. Hosting Debutante Balls, the Musikfest Ball, St Lukes Annual Ball and many more high end social events. Hotel Bethlehem was the social gathering of the Lehigh Valley for locals looking to experience elegance and a night to remember.

Historic Hotel Bethlehem is looking to recreate history for guests looking to attend a dance ball. The hotel offers over 90 years of history and hospitality experience, and they are holding a Roaring 20s Ball in April. Enjoy listening to a jazz swing band to create the roaring 20s atmosphere, to the décor that will decorate the Grand Ballroom to take guests into a “step back into time”. Hot Bijouxx will provide entertainment throughout the night, keeping guests dancing all night long.

Join Historic Hotel Bethlehem on Friday April 29th, 2016 for this spectacular event. It will be a 5 course dinner including a cocktail hour with an open bar from 6pm to 11pm. Guests will enjoy the evening by dancing, socializing and celebrating in the 20s era that dates back to when the hotel opened in 1922.

Independent Bookstore Day will take place on on Saturday April 30, 2015 at more than 400 bookstores nationwide. CBD will harness the creative power of authors, publishers, and booksellers to celebrate the reading community and drive readers to brick and mortar bookstores.

For one day, and one day only, a number of very limited, unique, word-based items and books will be available in more than 400 independent stores across the country. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill signed first editions—these are literature-based art projects, unique books, and collector’s items created for this event only. You can’t get them before. The brain fair is designed to be a fun family event where all can learn of the working of the brain and how to keep it safe. The highlight will be a free bicycle helmet compliments of the JLLV! Our Team has found a way to help our Community by sharing information about Farming, showing Farming demonstrations, setting up farm stands to help promote and help local farmers. We had Antique Tractors, Pioneer Days, Natural 100% Honey, Produce and fresh baked breads. Hay rides, Pony rides, Children’s Performers. An Alpaca Farm and a petting zoo too. Inflatables area with games, a hay maze and more. Plenty of food throughout the park. Vendors and Entertainment all day long. A fun filled family event.

Each year we will choose 3 Beneficiaries to give 100% of the proceeds too. Last year it was 4H Lehigh County, The Brett Snyder Family, and a Music Scholarship award to Connor Green.

The Bethlehem Food Co-Op will host its third annual craft fair on Saturday, April 30 from 11am-4pm. The fair will be held at Christ Church UCC (Center & Market Sts. in Bethlehem).

Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

Over thirty high-quality, local artisans will sell their wares. Items for sale will include jewelry, needle crafts, metalsmith, pottery, wood work, essential oils, and more! Local eateries will also provide natural foods and delicious treats for hungry shoppers. This year’s vendor list coming soon!

Craft fair visitors will also have the opportunity to become member-owners of the Co-Op. The Bethlehem Food Co-Op is owned by the community members it serves, and will support local producers and sustainable, humane, and natural food systems. Member-owners make a one-time $300 equity payment and will receive many perks, such as an equal voice in Co-op operations, opportunities for hands-on involvement, discount days, and access to unique educational opportunities. Payment plans are available to accommodate those who need to divide up the equity payment. The faster the Co-op gains member-owners, the sooner the store can open to serve the community with wonderful food!
