GLVADA to Host Annual Children’s Christmas Luncheon

Bringing Holiday Joy to Families Across the Lehigh Valley
Event to Feature Santa & Friends, Toy Giveaways, and the Debut of New Mascot “Driver”

Lehigh Valley, PA, December 11, 2025 – The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association (GLVADA) is proud to announce the return of its Children’s Christmas Luncheon, taking place Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Delta by Marriott in Breinigsville, Pa. from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.  A cherished annual tradition, the luncheon brings warmth, joy, and holiday magic to children and families throughout the region, including those supported by the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley, Camelot for Children, and local foster care organizations from Lehigh Valley, Monroe County and Pottsville.

The event will feature a kid-friendly holiday buffet, toy giveaways, festive music, and special appearances by Santa, Mrs. Claus, Frosty, Rudolph, and friends. All food, gifts, and activities are generously provided by GLVADA, its member dealers and First Commonwealth Credit Union as part of the association’s commitment to providing long-standing support for families facing medical, financial, and emotional challenges.

Since 1996, GLVADA has contributed more than $1.9 million to community programs, youth-serving organizations, nonprofits, and educational initiatives across the Greater Lehigh Valley.  In previous years, the luncheon has welcomed more than 100 children and their families, including those undergoing treatment for pediatric cancer, children in adaptive programs, and youth in foster or kinship care.

This year’s event will feature an exciting first, the debut of GLVADA’s new mascot, “Driver,” created to inspire, uplift, and engage young automotive fans across the Valley. Driver represents the association’s values of safety, kindness, and community spirit.

“We look forward to this luncheon every year,” said Dan Moyer, Executive Director of GLVADA. “The generosity of our member dealerships and partners allows us to create a joyful and meaningful experience for families who deserve the magic of Christmas. We’re also thrilled to introduce our new mascot, Driver, who will play a big role in connecting our “Cars & Kids, Because We CARe” mission moving forward.”

As GLVADA looks ahead to the new year, preparations are underway for the 2026 Lehigh Valley Auto Show, March 18–22 on Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus, as well as the inaugural Cars & Kids Foundation Gala on March 21 at Wind Creek Bethlehem.
