The 34th Annual QuickChek Ballooning Festival will feature 3 hot air balloons from the Lehigh Valley. Come support them as they ascend with up to 100 other balloons! The 3 day event goes from July 29th to July 31st. This one tank gas trip, to Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ, is an event not to be missed!

On Friday night the local Lehigh Valley balloons: FireStine & Going Batty III were giving tethered flights. We did not see Private Eye Too, inclement weather could have prevented their Friday night flight.

The 3 Lehigh Valley balloons are as follows:

Balloon #1: FireStine – Pilot: Chris Sommers Hometown: Slatington, PA

Balloon #2: Going Batty III – Pilot: Robert Ward Hometown: Quakertown, PA

Balloon #3: Private Eye Too – Pilot: R. Scott Kelley Hometown: Bethlehem, PA
