Health Network Labs Supports Salvation Army “Back To School Carnival” By Donating 1,000 Items For Students

Allentown, PA (Sept. 6, 2016) — Beginning a new school year can be stressful. Starting without the necessary tools makes it worse. Health Network Laboratories’ employees wanted to help area children get the supplies they need to be successful in school. After a month-long school supply drive, almost 1,000 various items were collected for the Salvation Army of the Greater Lehigh Valley to help with its 12th Annual Back to School Carnival.

The Salvation Army reported that more than 450 backpacks with school supplies were distributed to children in the community. The Salvation Army distributes donations to 500 + local school children during a “Back to School Carnival” held in Allentown every year. If you’d like to make a donation, please visit http://pa.salvationarmy.org/lehigh-valley.
