Lehigh Financial Group Arranges Financing For $800,000  Purchase Of Mountainhome Diner

New Owners To Maintain Menu, Amenities

Allentown, PA — Ownership of the Mountainhome Diner and Ice Cream Store in Monroe County has been transferred to a Whitehall Township couple, thanks to financing arranged by the Lehigh Financial Group in Allentown.

Ali and Etab Abullattif took over operations of the popular Route 390 restaurant on Feb. 14, and Ali Abullatif praised Lewis Edwards and the Lehigh Financial team for their assistance in obtaining the $800,000 Small Business Administration loan to finance the purchase.

“They were wonderful. I have done refinancing before but they made the process so easy,” Abullatif said. “It went as smooth as a waterfall. They took care of me, they took care of all the paperwork and they answered all my questions even before I asked them.”

Abdullatif, who has been a restaurateur throughout his career, said he plans no changes to the Mountainhome’s menu or atmosphere.

“Everything is staying the same,” he said. “I don’t think that it could be any better.”

Lewis and colleague Jeff Barber specialize in working with new and growing businesses and owners to help them obtain financing for real estate purchases, capital equipment, refinancing and other needs.
