Citizen’s Police Academy

The Allentown Police Department is proud to announce that the application process for the 2017 Citizens Police Academy is open. Applications will be accepted until 3:00 pm on Friday, August 11. Our Citizen Academy will run from September 6 through November 13, 2017. The academy classes will be held at the Allentown Police Academy, 2110 Park Drive, Allentown, PA 18103, Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Community Oriented Policing Crime Scene Processing
K9 Demonstration Vice & Intelligence Search & Seizure
Youth Division Firearms & Firearms safety
School Resources Officers Emergency Vehicle Operation
Defensive Tactics – Use of Force Gang Unit
Traffic – Vehicle Stops, DUI Arrests Lehigh County Coroner
Criminal Investigations Crime Analysis
Regional Intelligence & Information Center Computer Crime Lab
