Because of Grácia – Now Playing at the AMC Allentown 16 on Catasauqua Rd

Several hundred community members turned up Friday at the AMC Allentown 16 on Catasauqua Rd to see the opening day of Because of Grácia, an independent film that just opened in 28 cities across the US. The film follows high school senior Chase Morgan and his relationship with a new student, Grácia whose charisma, compassion, and conviction will change his life forever.

Reactions to the film were enthusiastic, with teens interviewed saying “100% on Rotten Tomatoes”, “This movie made me rethink my entire life”, “I’ve never seen a movie like that”, and even “I loved it! Every second of it was perfect.”

You may be wondering how an independent film like this gets into theatres and how Allentown was the only city in Pennsylvania showing it. In this case, the Lehigh Valley Pro-Life Future, a nonprofit organization of young professionals, worked directly with the film producer and the theatre to ensure the film would profit and do the promotion that independent films can’t afford to pay for.

The Lehigh Valley Pro-Life Future would like the thank the members of the Lehigh Valley community for the support that has put Because of Grácia well on its way toward a successful opening weekend and we encourage everyone who hasn’t seen it: take advantage of this unique opportunity. The movie is currently confirmed to run through Wednesday, September 20th, but may stay longer if turnout remains strong.
