United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley (UWGLV) was selected by Blue Ridge Cable TV as beneficiary of their Bundle Up the Kids initiative. For each Blue Ridge Cable TV bundle purchased from November 1, 2017 through November 30, 2017, Bundle Up Kids donated a new coat to keep a child warm this winter. United Way received 500 coats that were distributed to two community agencies: PathStone Carbon County Early Head Start and Family Promise of Carbon County. “United Way is so grateful that Blue Ridge Cable is stepping up to keep kids warm this winter,” remarked Marc Rittle, Vice President of Impact for UWGLV. “What seems like an obvious item in your closet to some, is desperately needed by many of our neighbors. This outreach will benefit so many in Carbon County and we’re happy to be a part of the effort.”
