BETHLEHEM, PA—Fly fishing aficionados, gear up for trout season and transport yourself to some of the most exotic angling destinations on Earth as the preeminent exhibition of fly fishing cinema, the acclaimed Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T), returns March 20-21, 7:30 p.m., to the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Tickets for the events, which go on sale today, Jan. 16, are $15 in advance at www.steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378, and $20 at the door. All proceeds from the two screenings benefit the Monocacy Chapter of Trout Unlimited and ArtsQuest.

At the Fly Fishing Film Tour, guests enjoy a variety of breathtakingly beautiful short films focused on dynamic angling destinations around the globe. Highlights include films about saltwater fishing in Dubai, floating fishing a remote Alaskan river via a pack raft, and seeking out the predatory Tiger Fish in Africa. The Fly Fishing Film Tour showings at the ArtsQuest Center are the only screenings of the film tour in region; the complete list of films and trailers is available at www.flyfilmtour.com.

Guests are invited to arrive starting at 6 p.m. each evening to enjoy an Anglers’ Happy Hour with food and beverages from the ArtsQuest Center’s Mike & Ike Bistro (not included with ticket price), as well as check out the raffle featuring two fly fishing trips for trout with guide Jerry Hadden on the Upper Delaware River and a smallmouth bass angling trip on the Susquehanna River with Nick Raftas. This year’s two-night run kicks off with a free performance by bluegrass band Woodsmoke on March 20, 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the Fly Fishing Film Tour benefit the Monocacy Chapter of Trout Unlimited’s habitat improvement work and coldwater conservation efforts on streams throughout the Lehigh Valley, as well as the ArtsQuest Arts Education Programming Fund, which helps to support ArtsQuest’s free music, arts and education programming for the community.
