February 25 – Softball Booster Purse Bingo

February 26 – March 2 – WORLD LANGUAGE WEEK

Parkland High School and Middle Schools will celebrate languages and cultures during World Language Week. Check out all of the week’s activities which include food festivals, cultural dress up days, guest speakers and performances, and more.

February 28, Districtwide Food Drive, 10 AM
Join Parkland students as we load 20,000 pounds of food onto Second Harvest trucks from our central collection point at Parkland High School. Students will then travel to Second Harvest to learn about their operations and service to our community.

March 6 – KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION BEGINS

March 8- Parent University: Connecting Families: Helping Families Navigate Their Digital Lives, Admin Center, 7 PM.

March 8 and 9 – OMS and SMS spring musicals in respective auditoriums, 7 PM. SMS will perform HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and OMS will perform LITTLE MERMAID.

March 10 – SMS Musical at 2 PM and OMS Musical at 2 PM and 7 PM.

March 9 – Professional Development Day – Schools Closed.

March 11 – DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS

March 15 – Community Advisory Council Meeting ,7 PM, Administration Center. The topic of the meeting will be “New Elementary School and Other Construction Projects Update” which will be presented by Richard Sniscak, Rod Troutman, and Dave Keppel.

All students who will be new to Parkland for Kindergarten or First Grade this fall should call their neighborhood elementary school now for an appointment. Not sure which school your child should attend? Just click on our handy school locator tool.

Got stuff, the Music Boosters will take it!

Spring is upon us and so is Spring cleaning.

If you have unwanted clothing, shoes, bedding, drapery, towels, table cloths and even stuffed animals, we’ll take it.

Just bag it up and bring to the PHS Music Boosters Clothing Drive on May 5th from 11 AM – 3 PM in the PHS parking lot by the Band Room.
