AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION/AMERICAN STROKE ASSOCIATION, Allentown needs a volunteer to serve as Heart Ball Auction Chair for their American Heart Association Heart Ball. Primary duty is to create and manage a committee of volunteers with staff support to help solicit auction items for the AHA Heart Ball on February 23, 2019. GRACEDALE NURSING HOME, Nazareth is looking for active, compassionate volunteers to help residents to physical therapy and beauty shop appointments within the facility. Positions include: managing interactive exhibits, craft tables, activity stations, lots of fun games, membership, marketing, and grounds departments. NORTHAMPTON CCC – COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS, Bethlehem needs volunteers to be Classroom Tutors and help adult students strengthen their literacy skills and improve their lives through education. Assist instructors in Adult Basic Education, GED’s, or ESL classrooms. Must have high school diploma, good reading, writing, and speaking skills in English, and attend a Volunteer Tutor Orientation workshop in spring/summer 2018. NORWESCAP FOOD BANK, Phillipsburg, NJ needs volunteers to assist with operations in their Thrift Store and help to sort donations. Volunteers are also needed to sort, clean, and pack non-perishable food items in their salvage area. Closed-toe shoes are required in salvage area. THE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY RESTORE, Whitehall is actively looking for adults individuals and groups (4 people max) on Friday and Saturday afternoons to assist with the daily operations in the Donation Center, sales floors and working with the ReStore Staff.
