The past few days have been crazy around the Lehigh Valley, but that has not stopped the Lehigh Valley Phantoms from maintaining their hold on first place in the AHL’s Atlantic Division. They are currently ahead of the second place Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins by five wins and eleven points. Along with topping the Atlantic division they are also leading the AHL with 83 points generated from their 38-15-3-4 record.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have a busy weekend ahead of them as they return to the PPL Center on Friday, March 9th to take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The Phantoms then chase the Tigers back to Bridgeport to play at the Webster Bank Arena on Saturday. The hectic weekend of hockey does not end in Connecticut; the Phantoms will return to the Lehigh Valley to face the Binghamton Devils on Sunday, March 11th.

The Phantoms have an impressive home record of 20-5-3-2 and are currently riding a four-game win streak. With every win, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms get closer to locking in their spot in playoffs. They are currently 18 points away from guaranteeing a berth into the 2018 Calder Cup playoffs.

Take a break from the winter mess outside and head into the PPL Center to cheer on our Lehigh Valley Phantoms!!!
