PBS39 Announces New Panelist for “A Community Conversation on the Future of Allentown”



 

Allentown Community Consultant, Guillermo Lopez, Joins the Panel of Allentown Government Officials and Community Stakeholders

 

Bethlehem, PA – April 20, 2018PBS39 is set to host “A Community Conversation on the Future of Allentown”. The special live presentation will feature several Allentown government officials and community stakeholders as they discuss the uncertain future of the city. One of PBS39’s newest team members Monica Evans, executive producer and on-air personality from PBS39, will host the event and act as moderator.

PBS39 announces the addtion of Guillermo Lopez, an Allentown community consultant, who will be joining the panel alongside Ray O’Connell, Allentown’s Interim Mayor; Charlie Thiel, Allentown School Board President; Roger MacLean, Allentown City Council President; Rep. Peter Schweyer (D – 22nd District), Rev. Dr. Larry D. Pickens, Ecumenical
Director of the Lehigh Valley Conference of Churches; Dan Bosket, Director of the Community Action Development Corporation of Allentown; and one other panelist yet to be confirmed.

The format for this community conversation is an unscripted discussion between panel members and the live studio audience. The audience members are encouraged to participate and ask questions.

This open forum will take place in the studios at PBS39 in Bethlehem, and will be broadcast on PBS39 and streamed live on the PBS39 website and Facebook page on Tuesday, April 24th at 6:00pm.
