Hotel Bethlehem to host “Rockin’ Lobster on Main” dining event during Musikfest

HOTEL BETHLEHEM TO BRING TASTE OF MAINE TO MAIN STREET FOR MUSIKFEST

WITH NEW “ROCKIN’ LOBSTER ON MAIN” PROMOTION

BETHLEHEM, PA – August 4, 2015 – Hotel Bethlehem will bring a New England tradition to Musikfest this year when it hosts a Maine lobster bake for dinner each day of the 10-day music festival from 4 – 10 p.m. in its transformed 1741 on the Terrace restaurant.

A recent trip to Maine inspired Executive Chef Michael Adams to offer fresh lobster this year throughout Musikfest. Transforming 1741 on the Terrace into a new dining venue for Musikfest, in addition to the hotel being an official new platz this year, are just a few reasons guests will want to stop in to try one of Adams’ special lobster creations.

The hotel’s culinary team will be cooking up several lobster items at the “Rockin’ Lobster on Main” venue from August 7-16. For $29.95 per person indulge on a 1.5 lb. whole Maine lobster with mussels, shrimp, corn on the cob, and potatoes. Also available are lobster spring rolls for $13, lobster rolls, specialty cocktails, craft beers, and mug refills. (While meal service will end at 10 p.m., the restaurant will continue to serve drinks until 11 p.m.)

Live musical entertainment will also be featured while you dine and drink in the restaurant’s nautical theme. Entertainment will feature performers including Jim Meck (the Piano Man), Brian and The Coconutz  (beach-themed music), Sparks the Rescue (hits music), and many more artists.

While enjoying the lobster bake, restaurant seating overlooks the Historic Bethlehem quarter and the festival. This premier indoor seating is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink after walking around Musikfest all day.

Walk-ins are welcomed, but groups are encouraged to make advance reservations by calling 610-625-2219.

The historic hotel will become Hotel Bethlehem Platz, an official Musikfest platz, for the first time this year and will feature live music out front on the patio along Main Street, and mug refills in The Shoppe at Hotel Bethlehem on its lower level. Hotel Bethlehem Platz hours are 5-9 p.m. weekdays and 1-4 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Historic Hotel Bethlehem is located in Bethlehem, Pa. in the heart of Bethlehem’s nationally registered historic district. The Hotel is a proud member of Historic Hotels of America.  Experience world-class service, charming guest accommodations and award-winning cuisine, all on a site that has been warmly welcoming guests since 1741. http://www.hotelbethlehem.com/
