Calling for nominations for the 2015 LVB Business of the Year awards

The Stage is set to Celebrate the 2015 Business of the Year Honorees

The prestigious Business of the Year Awards, a program of Lehigh Valley Business, are designed to give for-profit companies and executives the recognition they deserve for creating jobs, contributing to the community and bolstering the region economically.

Nominations are being accepted through September 4 for these special awards. Companies or individuals may be self-nominated or nominated by a third party.

Award categories open to public nominations include Business of the Year (1-50 employees, 51-100 employees, and 100+ employees) Emerging Business of the Year, Corporate Citizen of the Year, and Executive of the Year.

Out of an elite group of finalists selected, one honoree in each category will be named the winner.

Additionally, three individuals chosen by our independent panel of judges, will be inducted into the Lehigh Valley Business Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame award honors those who have a long-term commitment to business success in the Greater Lehigh Valley.

To be eligible, businesses must be privately-held for-profit entities that are headquartered, or have significant operations) in the Greater Lehigh Valley counties of Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, lower Monroe, upper Montgomery, Northampton, upper Bucks, Schuylkill and Warren. To be considered for the judges’ review, companies must submit a completed nomination form by 5pm on Friday September 4, 2015.

Finalists will be honored and winners revealed at an awards dinner and ceremony on Tuesday, December 8, at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem. Companies and individuals honored that night will also be profiled in a publication inserted into the December 14 issue of Lehigh Valley Business.
