January 27, PHS Swim and Dive Team Fundraiser at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Hamilton Crossings. Mention the team and 20% of the order will be donated to the team.

Jan. 31 & Feb. 1 – Mark Wood of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will perform on the Parkland stage and Electrify our String Students! Thanks to a grant from the Parkland Education Foundation! Mr. Wood will do a master class with string students in grades 7-12 on Thursday and grades 4-6 on Friday. He will perform with students both evenings. February 2 – Spring Sports FREE Physicals/ImPACT Testing, PHS Cafeteria

Boys 8 AM – 9:30 AM., Girls 9:30 AM – 11 AM. They are free of charge. ImPACT testing will be available 8 AM – 11 AM.

February 4-13 – 14th Annual District-wide Food Drive

Non perishables will be collected in all buildings for Second Harvest Food Bank. Culminating activity will entail loading the full 25,000 pounds of food on trucks and touring the Second Harvest headquarters to learn about hunger and how the organization serves the Lehigh Valley. This final event will take place on February 20 at 10 AM at PHS..

February 9 – French Fair for 4th and 5th Grade, 10 AM – 12 Noon, PHS.

Learn about French culture with activities put on by PHS students who love their French class! The event is FREE but an RSVP is required at https://tinyurl.com/frenchfair. See the flyer here.

February 9 – Mr. Parkland Contest, 7 PM, PHS Auditorium.

February 24 – The Parkland High School Chorale Sings with Bach Choir Of Bethlehem, 3 PM, Zoellner Arts Center – Lehigh University.
This concert will feature a collaboration with The Bach Choir Of Bethlehem, Bel Canto Youth Chorus, Emmaus High School Chorale, Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Touring Choir, and Parkland High School Chorale. Discounted tickets for Parkland students, faculty and families are $15 for adults, and $6 for students. To purchase tickets, call the Bach Choir Office at 610-866-4382, x 115 or x110. February 24, Purse Bingo, 1:30 PM, PHS Cafeteria. Proceeds go to the PHS Softball teams. 20 games for $20. Kitchen opens at noon, so come early and eat lunch. For tickets, contact snyderdr@parklandsd.org.

February 25 – WORLD LANGUAGE WEEK at PHS

Kindergarten registration will occur in March in all buildings. If you have a child who is turning 5 prior to September 1st, call now for your registration appointment
