Calling all women! Who’s looking for a fun way to get involved in the community and have a lot of fun with a nail hammering relay competition? I know I’m interested and 13 teams have already registered. For the 6th year in a row, She Nailed It! has become one of Habitat at Lehigh Valley’s signature fundraising events. According to Habitat Lehigh Valley, this event gives women the opportunity to build “strength, stability and shelter in the Lehigh Valley, as well as raise awareness for the housing inequality faced by women globally and locally.”

All teams consist of 4 women. Each team member must take a turn hammering 1 nail into a 2”x6” board laid across two saw horses. Once each team member takes their turn, they hit a buzzer as this is a timed event. The winning team will be judged on the fastest time. There will also be additional awards such as the highest fundraising team and best costumes.

Each team must raise a minimum of $1500 or have sponsor cover the donation.
