Zac Cohen Receives ‘Exceptionally Well Qualified’ Rating From Bar Association of Lehigh County



Distinction For Judicial Candidates Rarely Given

Earlier today, The Bar Association of Lehigh County released its ratings for those running for Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas in the May 21st Primary Election. Of the seven candidates considered, Zachary Cohen was the only one to receive the highest rating given by the organization, that of Exceptionally Well Qualified.

The Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee considered the following criteria in giving its rating: Legal Ability, Depth and Breadth of Legal Experience, Judicial Temperament, Work Ethic and Fairness. At has been at least 20 years since the Exceptionally Well Qualified rating has been awarded by the organization.

Upon learning of the distinction, Mr. Cohen stated, “I am honored and humbled to receive this high honor. Having been a lawyer in Lehigh County for over 15 years, it is good to know that I have the respect of my peers.”

Zac Cohen was born and raised in Allentown. After law school, he returned to Lehigh County to practice law and raise his family. He is a partner at Lesavoy Butz & Seitz and has previously been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star. Mr. Cohen has also worked with the Wills for Heroes program, writing estate documents for first responders and has been a court appointed arbitrator on the local, state, and federal levels for over ten years.
