BOUTIQUE AT THE RINK, Bethlehem is an organization of Lehigh Valley volunteers dedicated to supporting cancer services in the community through the annual sale of new and gently used items. CEDARBROOK SENIOR CARE and REHAB, Fountain Hill needs volunteers for their Annual Car Show from 5-7pm on Tuesday, June 11; rain date June 13. Help their residents enjoy the car show by escorting them (pushing wheelchairs when necessary) out of the building and around their visitor parking lot to see the show cars. HISPANIC CENTER of the LEHIGH VALLEY, Bethlehem is looking for a volunteer or two with a pickup truck, SUV, or van (a vehicle with room to transport items) to pick up cases of food donated by Sam’s Club on Airport Road, Allentown, twice a month on Friday’s @10:30am. LEHIGH VALLEY BUSINESS GROUP, Bethlehem is looking for volunteers for their Sunshine for Seniors Program, a program for low income seniors/individuals who are no longer physically capable nor can afford to hire anyone to do minor yard work. Bring sunshine into their lives by volunteering to: rake leaves/clean yards, trim bushes, plant flowers/vegetables, minor painting, or other odds-n-ends to help the outdoor space of the homeowner. LEHIGH VALLEY SCORE, LCC, Schnecksville needs experienced business people to provide confidential business mentoring services in person and online. NAZARETH CENTER for the ARTS, Bethlehem needs volunteers (adult supervision 16-18 years) to help staff a table during the Northampton County Festival at Louise Moore Park, Bethlehem on Saturday, May 25. Volunteers will provide information to attendees about the Center to help raise awareness of their organization. They will also be selling raffle tickets for a Martin Guitar. THE SANCTUARY AT HAAFSVILLE, Breinigsville needs help to maintain the animal shelter grounds and buildings.  Tasks would include lawn mowing, weed and hedge trimming, grounds and parking lot maintenance, general repair of fencing/building, etc.  Please join us in giving back to these wonderful animals by helping with facility’s needs. THE UNITED WAY of the GREATER LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown is recruitingvolunteers (18+ years) tobe Talk, Read, Sing Ambassadors to help build communications and promote brain development of children. They are looking for long-term volunteers willing to donate 2-4 hours a month and who have their own transportation. Literacy tools such as tip sheets, books, etc. will be provided.
