National Beer Day

National Beer Day is celebrated on April 7th. On this day in 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt took the first step toward ending Prohibition and signed a law that allowed people to brew and sell beer as long as it remained below 4.0% alcohol by volume (ABV).

The Lehigh Valley has a rich history of brewing, dating as far back as 1783. We have compiled a list of breweries from the past and present for you to guess the year they were first founded. The person with the most correct answers in the shortest amount of time will win a 20-dollar gift card to Ringer’s Roost. Must be 21 or older to win this contest.

Whether you prefer pale ale, stout, or lager, enjoy a pint of your favorite beer on April 7th to celebrate National Beer Day! Always drink responsibly and to never drink and drive.
