The latest episode provides an in-depth look at COVID-19 vaccination featuring a panel of St. Luke’s University Health Network specialists.

HELLERTOWN, PA — The next episode of St. Luke’s HealthNow will air Monday, January 18 at 6:30 PM on WFMZ Channel 69. COVID-19 Vaccine discusses the latest innovative treatment options for COVID-19 patients while exploring vaccine timing, roll-out, efficacy, benefits, and distribution plans.

COVID-19 Vaccine features St. Luke’s specialists, Jeffrey Jahre, MD, Senior Vice President for Medical and Academic Affairs, Dennis McGorry, MD, Senior Regional Medical Director of St. Luke’s Physician Group, and Tracy Arnold, BSN, RN, Director of Vaccine Management. Hosted by Ashley Russo, president and executive producer of ASR Media Productions, St. Luke’s HealthNow is a co- production of ASR Media Productions and St. Luke’s University Health Network.

“COVID-19 is still with us. It is a devastating disease in many people. It clearly alters people’s lives with many complications, and unfortunately, results in great mortality among vulnerable populations,” said Jahre. “No matter what the [COVID-19] strain is, it is susceptible to the vaccine. Prevention is always better than cure, no matter what we’re dealing with, and that certainly applies to COVID-19.”

St. Luke’s HealthNow complements other St. Luke’s health and wellness programming including Talk with Your Doctor, a 30-minute live call-in show now in its 21st year, as well as The PEAK TV, also a co-production with ASR Media Productions, which offers viewers thought-provoking stories, tips for better health, and ways to be your best self.
