COMPEER OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown needs volunteers for one-on-one friendship matches.   Compeer matches volunteers from the community with members who are in stable, mental health recovery.  Volunteers spend time with the member doing things like talking over a cup of coffee, taking a walk, going to a free concert, and many more.  Hours are flexible and available in both Northampton and Lehigh Counties.  Call 610-774-1450 or email compeer@pbfalv.org.

MEALS ON WHEELS OF LEHIGH COUNTY, Allentown is looking for volunteers (18+ years) to distribute meals to homebound individuals between 11am-1pm Monday-Friday.   Teams of 2 deliver to 33 routes throughout Lehigh County.  Drive a route or ride along as a visitor.  Bring a friend and form a team or let us provide a partner for you.   Training scheduled for Wednesday 1/17 @1:30pm.  Call Dawn Stillwagen, 610-398-2563, dstillwagen@mealsonwheelslc.org.

SENIOR CORPS RSVP of LEHIGH, NORTHAMPTON & CARBON COUNTIES, Bethlehem needs Driver/Escort volunteers and volunteers to do Grocery Shopping for senior citizens and/or individuals with disabilities.    Driver/Escorts provide rides to/from appointments.  Grocery shop once or twice a month.  Some shopping assignments may include transporting someone to and accompanying them through the store.  Hours are flexible based upon your availability and client’s needs.  Call Diane Schrameyer, 610-393-1165, dms1408@hotmail.com.
