Coming Events

October 12 and 13, PHS Fall Play, “26 Pebbles,” 7:30 PM and October 14 at 3 PM. This brand new show stars 13 PHS students who play adults in the community of Newtown, CT where the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School took place in 2012. Our students have researched their characters, which are all adults, by interviewing real people who experienced this tragic event. The play represents hope and healing by a community who worked together to overcome their grief. Come out and support this brand new show and be the first in the region to view it as PHS performs its Lehigh Valley debut!

October 15 – 19 – National School Lunch Week “Lots to Love About School Lunch.” Heart-shaped soft pretzels at the elem level. Daily giveaways in Elementary Cafeterias, Monday and Friday giveaways at the Middle School Cafeterias for those who purchase lunch.

Mr. Barry Dobil , PHS Alumni and owner of Josh Early Candies, will bring his chocolate temperer to a PHS classroom and assist students with special needs to melt chocolate, dip pretzels, and put sprinkles on them. In addition, he is donating all of the chocolate! During all lunches, students will sell the pretzels to fellow classmates. This hands-on project will give students an authentic lesson that involves skills that can be used at many job sites.

November 5, Parent University with Marc Mero on Facing Adversity and Overcoming Challenges, SMS Auditorium, 7 PM. 8th and 9th graders will receive Marc Mero’s special message about facing adversity in the morning and then parents are invited in at night to be inspired by Marc’s message as he inspires people to examine their life choices.
