Allentown, PA – Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center is excited to announce the launch of the 2026 Pennsylvania LGBTQIA+ Health Survey. Starting February 4th, the Bradbury-Sullivan Center is leading a coalition of LGBTQIA+ organizations across the state collecting data for the 2026 Pennsylvania LGBTQIA+ Health Survey. This will be the 5th statewide biennial survey to be administered by the Center in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
The Pennsylvania LGBTQIA+ Health Survey assesses the state of health for the LGBTQIA+ population across the state looking at issues such as tobacco use, access to affirming and affordable healthcare, vaccinations and preventative care, gender-affirming care, and mental health issues. This data is then used by LGBTQ+ centers across the state to design programming and apply for grants. The data is also used by legislators and advocates to work on getting more inclusive policies passed.
The goal with the 2026 PA LGBTQIA+ Health Survey is to collect data from a large and diverse group of LGBTQIA+ Pennsylvanians. In 2024, data was collected from over 3,300 respondents from 65 out of the 67 counties in Pennsylvania. “We are hoping to have 5,000 respondents to the survey in 2026,” added Chrystina Obleschuk, Director of Programs at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, “It is more important than ever that the voices and needs of our community are not erased.”
Any LGBTQIA+ Pennsylvanian, age 13+ is eligible to take the survey which is offered in both English and Spanish as soon as the survey becomes available here: https://survey.alchemer.com/
Those interested in celebrating the release of the survey are invited to join the Bradbury-Sullivan Center team for an evening of celebration and networking on February 5th from 5:00-6:30 pm at the Center at 522 West Maple St. Allentown, PA 18101.
