Senator Browne to Host Special COVID-19 Telephone Town Hall

Lehigh County – State Senator Pat Browne (R-16) will host a special COVID-19 Telephone Town Hall for constituents of the 16th Senatorial District on Wednesday, April 15 at 3:30 p.m. The Telephone Town Hall is designed to provide listeners with vital information related to the COVID-19 crisis.

Senator Browne will be joined on the call by a panel of local experts, each providing information on the COVID-19 pandemic and resources available to help those affected. Participants include:

  • Eric Kratz, Executive Director

PA Senate Labor and Industry Committee

  • Don Cunningham, President & CEO

Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp.

  • Dr. Brian Nester, President and CEO

Lehigh Valley Health Network

  • Local United Way Representatives

Constituents will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel of experts during the one-hour call.

“The safety concerns and disruption to everyday life that this public health emergency has caused is unprecedented in our lifetime,” Senator Browne said. “It is vitally important that we keep the public updated on developments related to COVID-19 and the numerous government and community resources that are now available to help those affected.”

The Telephone Town Hall format allows the community to participate in the discussion without the need to leave their homes. Participants may ask questions or simply remain on their phone line to listen to the conversation.

Constituents will receive a phone call invite on their landline telephone on Wednesday, April 15 at 3:30 p.m. asking if they would like to participate in the live call.
