Musikfest Golf Tournament Fundraiser Returns July 6 to Bethlehem Golf Club

BETHLEHEM, PA—With area golf courses reopening across the region, ArtsQuest is pleased to announce that golf aficionados and Musikfest fans have the opportunity to once again shoot a round in support of the music festival that has twice been named best in North America by USA Today/10Best.

The 8th annual Musikfest Golf Tournament, presented by Tri Outdoor Advertising, will tee off July 6 in Bethlehem. Registration for the event, which will take place at the Bethlehem Golf Club, 400 Illick’s Mill Road, is now open, Registrations can be made online at www.musikfest.org or by emailing ArtsQuest’s Emily Kocis at ekocis@artsquest.org.

A unique four-man scramble, the Musikfest Golf Tournament offers participants a delicious selection of some of the festival’s most popular vendors. There will also be beer provided by Banko Beverage and non-alcoholic refreshments provided by Coca-Cola. The event is limited to 30 foursomes and includes two flights. Prizes are awarded to the top teams in each flight, as well as for the longest and straightest drives and the closest shot to the pin.

Registration for the tournament is $575 per foursome or $155 per golfer. Entry fee includes greens fees, golf cart, Musikfest gift bag and food & beverages.  New this year, ArtsQuest is allowing participants to purchase their mulligans in advance as a way to help support the nonprofit, which has been closed since March 16 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mulligan purchases can be made when you register for the event.

The Musikfest 2020 tournament, including food service, will follow all social distancing and public safety guidelines, and the event format may be subject to change based on any state and city guidelines in place at the time regarding COVID-19 safety and mitigation efforts.

Sponsors helping to make the Musikfest Golf Tournament possible include presenting media partner Tri Outdoor, as well as Wind Creek Resort, Service Electric Cable TV & Communications, Banko Beverage Company, Christmas City Printing, John & Brenda McGlade and more. Proceeds from the event will go to support ArtsQuest’s music, arts and education programming for the community, including Musikfest. Last year, ArtsQuest presented more than 4,000 programs, concerts, classes and educational initiatives, with nearly 50 percent of these free to attend.

ArtsQuest is looking for additional sponsors to help present the fun day on the course. Sponsorship packages include a foursome in the tournament, as well as other great benefits. For more information on becoming a sponsor, contact Nick Michael at nmichael@artsquest.org or 610-332-1339.
