EQUI-LIBRIUM THERAPEUTIC HORSEMANSHIP, Nazareth strives to provide individuals the opportunity to reach their highest potential through the benefits of horse-related activities and therapies. Our Fundraising Committee is looking to grow and engage with more dedicated and committed community members with skills in Fundraising/Sponsorship, Operations & Logistics, Marketing & Promotion, or Finance. Time Commitment is 4-8 hours per month (includes meeting, outreach, events) and attend monthly, or bi-weekly committee meetings. INDEPENDENT TRANSPORTATION NETWORK LEHIGH VALLEY provides 24/7 door through door ride service for seniors age 60 and over and visually impaired adults to any destination in the Lehigh Valley. In order to provide this service, we need volunteer drivers to help us with the increasing demand for rides. All rides in Lehigh Valley only. Drive when and where you want. No minimum hours required. LEHIGH VALLEY SCORE needs Volunteer Mentors to coach Entrepreneurs at no charge for our local chapter in the nation-wide SCORE organization. MORNINGSTAR LIVING, Nazareth is looking for a certified instructor in Tai Chi to virtually teach basic elements for one to three hours per week for small groups of older active adults in a retirement community 9 – 10 am weekday mornings and/or one afternoon. MUSEUM OF INDIAN CULTURE, Allentown is looking for a remote volunteer to write for the museum’s in-house newsletter, Indian Culture Quarterly, that keeps our members updated to our activities, current American Indian news topics, interesting ancient history, and more. Prior writing experience required. Docents are also needed to greet and provide visitors with an educational experience about Native American lifeways and history as it pertains to our exhibits. YOUNG PEOPLE’S PHILHARMONIC OF THE LV, Bethlehem is a youth orchestra serving 120 middle & high school students in the Greater Lehigh Valley. We are looking for Board members with legal, accounting, and financial skills, as well as individuals who have access to grants through their companies or other philanthropic groups. Time commitments include attendance at monthly Board meetings Sept- June and some committee work in between.
