2020 saw a shift in tradition with the East Penn & Western Lehigh Chambers adjusting to mandates about crowd-size limits with a Holiday Drive-Through at Shepherd Hills Golf Club. While we made the best of the situation, we’re thrilled to be back in-person for our regularly scheduled luncheon. The event will be held Tuesday December 7 from 11:30am-1pm at Brookside Country Club, 901 Willow Lane, Macungie, PA. This annual event boasts feel-good holiday vibes with music, decorations, giveaways, and more!

Guests are encouraged to pre-register on the Chamber’s website at LehighValleyChamber.org/events. Cost for members is $20; future members are encouraged to attend as well with a ticket price of $40. Attendance includes networking, giveaways, lunch and dessert, a performance from the Parkland Chorale, and the opportunity to purchase tickets for our basket raffle.

Registration and networking will run from 11:30am-12pm. During this time the staff will be selling basket raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets. Basket raffle tickets will benefit the East Penn Chamber’s Francee Fuller Memorial Scholarship and the Western Lehigh Community Grant fund. Each year the East Penn Chamber gives out scholarship(s) to students who are graduating from the East Penn School District and plan to pursue further education within six (6) months of graduation whether it be a two- or four-year school or technical schooling. This year the East Penn board and scholarship committee are proud to announce that the fund has been officially renamed the Francee Fuller Scholarship Fund through the East Penn Chamber on behalf of our late board member, Francee Fuller. She was a long-standing board member, avid community supporter, and fervent believer in education.

“I am very excited to be a part of this event this year!” Coordinator of Affiliated Chambers Hayden Rinde stated when asked about attending the Holiday Luncheon for the first time as the newest member of the Affiliated Chambers team. “Our members haven been buzzing with enthusiasm as we discussed plans for the in-person event this year, so I am excited to experience this event that is so highly favored by so many of our members”

Additionally, the Western Lehigh Chamber will be raising funds for their annual community grant. Each year they give out a few $1000 grants to local non-profits that support Upper Macungie Township and/or South Whitehall Township. Recent recipients have included the Travis Manion Foundation, Parkland CARES Food Pantry, local fire departments, the Travis Manion Foundation, and more.

The program will start promptly at 12pm with remarks from our East Penn and Western Lehigh Board Chairs, our Presenting Sponsor Zator Law, and sponsor recognition from Chamber staff. The Parkland Chorale will perform from 12:15-12:45pm led by the Director of Choral Activities, Frank Anonia.
