TEMPLE, PA (May 11, 2022) – KidsPeace Foster Care in Reading will hold its first “FOSTER HOPE FESTIVAL” on Saturday, May 21st, 2022. The event will run from noon to 5 p.m. in the fields behind the KidsPeace Berks campus facility at 704 Hay Road in Temple, PA.

The FOSTER HOPE FESTIVAL is intended to educate the community about foster care and to encourage interested families to consider becoming foster parents with KidsPeace. The event is part of KidsPeace’s observance of National Foster Care Awareness Month.

During the festival, active KidsPeace foster parents will share their foster care experiences and answer questions. In addition, the festival will showcase entertainment, resources and connections for families in the area served by the Reading office, including food and craft vendors along with representatives of community service organizations.

The event is free and open to the public.

KidsPeace noted that Spark Orthodontic and Green Valley Dental are sponsoring the FOSTER HOPE FESTIVAL event. Questions can be directed to Heather Einsig at 610-799-7930 or heather.einsig@kidspeace.org
